Project Details
The rear garden of this villa situated in Mount Eden was dominated by a huge volcanic rock outcrop with an untamed garden holding little appeal. The client commissioned a hand made bespoke swimming pool with a built in spa, our job was to transform the pool area into a tropical backyard paradise so that everyday the client felt like they were on holiday.
All the rock that was excavated from the pool had to be used on site, as there was no access to remove it. So with the excess soil and over sized rocks we beautifully sculpted new paths, patios and gardens and then planted large palms with under planting of sub-tropical plants. Resulting in their own personal piece of paradise in their backyard.
