Kensington Landscaping – Overview

If the name ‘Kensington’ conjures-up thoughts of royalty, then the founder’s deliberate attempt to associate his business with the world famous royal parks & gardens in London has clearly worked. In fact, Kensington Landscaping founder Rob Figgins, was responsible for Kensington Gardens London before returning to New Zealand to start the business in 2003. One might say, “the business has a fine lineage”.

A right royal gardening background

Originally from Rotorua, Rob has worked extensively in the landscaping industry for most of his working life. After venturing to the UK, the hard worker literally ‘mowed’ his way up the ranks to become manager of the picturesque Kensington Gardens where as one would expect, standards were extremely high. Fastidious attention to detail, physical strength and extraordinary dedication, enabled Rob to achieve an extremely high standard of workmanship. Upon returning to New Zealand to raise a family after 11 years in the UK, Rob started Kensington Landscaping in East Auckland.

Credited with the transformation of countless east Auckland landscapes, Rob and his experienced and highly qualified team, surprise and delight their clients with stunning outdoor solutions for a wide range of budgets.
